Atlas Seis has know-how in the production of biogas from anaerobic digestion, developing and implementing turn-key projects in wastewater treatment system.
Anaerobic digestion is a biological process through which organic matter is digested by anaerobic bacteria and is converted mainly into methane, carbon dioxide and water in the absence of oxygen.
One important aspect about anaerobic digestion, which has contributed since its beginning to its development, is the production of biogas. The methane gas present in biogas ensures it has high energetic power, allowing it to be used as a fuel (gas) in several applications.
Atlas Seis projects and follows treatment systems with anaerobic digestion according to the needs of each client. Anaerobic digestion may be designed from scratch or adapted to existing customer equipment, for example, by covering the lagoons. With these solutions we intend to effectively treat wastewaters through energy production and conversion of biogas.
The projects already implemented demonstrate the economic and environmental viability of energy recovery of organic waste by producing biogas for electricity and thermal energy through CHP technology.
